Miroslav Jandus

Miroslav was born in Prague in Czechoslovakia. He started to study History and Archaeology at the Charles University but changed the subject to Physics and graduated in 2004. Miroslav came to the U.K. for three months to learn English, which turned into a permanent move. From 2007 to its closure in 2025 he worked as a stamp describer and valuer for Sandafayre/Cheshire Stamp Auctions.

Miroslav has been collecting stamps since he was 8, mainly various local, private and revolutionary issues. He lives in Knutsford with his partner and two young daughters. His main interests are history, travelling, visiting castles and country houses, reading, sports especially table tennis, pickleball, tennis, volleyball, and playing cards and other tabletop games with friends.
