Wednesday 23 & Thursday 24 September  2026 – British Empire and Foreign Countries

This opening auction of the Autumn Season includes the remarkable thematic collection of Cycling formed by the late Brian Sole FRPSL including rarities from the Western Australia goldfields, the fine ‘Oliver’ Collection of Cayman Islands, scarce China from the classic collection of the late Colonel Cosmo George St. Clair Harvey, exceptional Malta from the collection of Lou Wadley and the second part of the landmark collection of Mauritius postal stationery formed by the late Dr Alan K Huggins MBE, RDP, Hon. FRPSL.

Monday 26 & Tuesday 27 October 2026 – Specialised Great Britain

Our Autumn event will include the Jane and Michael Moubray Collection of Overseas Mail, foundation of the groundbreaking publication British Letter Mail to Overseas Destinations 1840 to UPU first published in 1992 and winner of the prestigious Crawford Medal. The collection covers mails going from Great Britain to India, Australia, the Far East and Africa as well as Transatlantic Mail, reflecting the development of mail routes and rates during years of unprecedented expansion by land and sea.

This auction closes for consignments on August 26th.

 

Thursday 3 December 2026 – British Empire and Foreign Countries

This sale will include the extensive collection of Egypt formed by the late Michael Bramwell and the third part of the exceptional collection of Mauritius postal stationery formed by the late Dr Alan K Huggins MBE, RDP, Hon. FRPSL

The auction closes for consignments on October 2nd.
