A specialised auction of over 1,800 lots, the property of 143 vendors, featuring the exceptional Ron Peters collection of Gibraltar and Great Britain issues overprinted for use in the Morocco Agencies, the fine and attractive collections of Iran formed by the late Peter Greenway, Southern Africa by Raymond Glanville-Jones, East Africa by Dr Anthony Frisby, Kuwait by Dr L. Phillips, Ceylon postal stationery by the late Dr W.K. Mansfield and Switzerland by Michael Atherton, as well as further unusual material from the R.J. Maddocks collection of Cameroons, an interesting section of cancellations of British Honduras and Ireland from the collection of the late Tony Best, sold on behalf of charity.
