2019 Year of Change

Andrew Williams has been appointed Managing Director of Grosvenor Auctions and
Tom Margalski as Office Manager at the start of an important year for the company. Chris Lawrence continues as Director of Finance and James Grist as Chairman.

Nick Mansell is leaving the company in order to devote himself full time to his stamp dealing activities and we wish Nick every success with his future plans. Nick was one of the original founders of Grosvenor in 1997 and has been instrumental to the success we have achieved together over the years.

Andrew Williams

2019 will be Andrew Williams’ tenth year with Grosvenor and he is already well known to clients, having developed expertise over a broad range of philatelic areas, working closely with Grosvenor’s expert team of specialists and consultants. His personal collections include the challenging territories of Moldavia & Wallachia, Serbia and Montenegro as well as studies of the fakes and forgeries of the world. Andy is the latest recruit to the B.P.A. Expertising Committee and he takes an active role in the stamp trade as a member of the council of the Philatelic Traders Society.

Tom Margalski

Tom Margalski joined Grosvenor in 2012 after graduating from the University of Kent with a degree in History. He is most clients’ first point of contact and is responsible for the whole range of client services including private and public viewing. Tom’s many responsibilities also include supervision of the scanning of philatelic items, and the preparation and despatch of auction lots.
