''Ship'' and endorsement ''Pr. Alexander/Capt. Reid Q.D.C.'', from John Harvey, agent on the island, further detailing the estate and proposals for purchase. 3) 1765 (Oct. 2) endorsed ''p. the Simon/Capt. Menie'' (no charge required as addressed to a M.P.), from Harvey with short message accompanying ''a scroll copy of the Deed''. 4) 1766 (Feb. 8) from Harvey, who is now attempting to find an alternative estate for Amyand and asking for authority to act immediately if necessary. 5) 1766 (June 16-July 14) from Harvey ''per St. George/Capt. Tobin'', rated ''1/3'' and with fine ''DOVER/SHIP LRE'', backstamped ''27/AV'' Bishop mark arrival, the letter regarding the estates and with good wishes for Amyand's health (to little avail as Amyand was to die during the year.).
