This cover was carried on the S.S. ''Triona'' sunk by German surface raiders ''Komet'' and ''Orion'' on Dec. 6 1940. Some mail was salvaged and landed at Emirau Island, New Guinea on Dec. 21 by the ''Orion'', subsequently returned to Sydney and eventually reaching Ocean Island on Mar. 11 1940.
