Our November 15th & 16th Great Britain auction will include the exceptional Wheldon family collection, specialised Line Engraved, the Ronnie Shiers collection of the 1929 Postal Union Congress, and a extensive offering of QEII errors.

Our November 17th British Empire & Foreign Countries auction will be of exceptional interest to those specialising in the Colonial Key Plate issues of De La Rue.

The auction features the award-winning collection formed by M.N. Oliver, FRPSL, including unique essays and proofs from the printers’ archive as well as the outstanding Michael Rego collection of Saint Lucia and the Robin Burges collections of Seychelles Cancellations, with rare Village Post datestamps and the most comprehensive offering of early postcards from the islands ever presented.

There will again be a strong section of Falkland Islands including the earliest known letter addressed to the islands and the earliest known item of local mail, as well as one of the most attractive of the popular ‘Black Frank’ covers.

Also strongly featured will be Australia, rarely offered Faroe Islands.
